Welcoming Breath Of Life At Turn Of Winter To Spring (Imbolc Nidra)

This 14 minute nourishing nidra was recorded at Imbolc, on the eve of Saint Brigid's day, live in a beautiful yoga studio in a converted cowshed at Pure Camping (home of the Irish Santosa yoga camp) on the Loop Head Peninisula in West Clare, in the West of Ireland. The intention is to help us find a centre in the 'Imbolc of the Breath", the time at the very end of the exhalation, just as the ihalation is returning, and to honour this seasonal shift within to help us navigate the seasonal turn at this time of the year, when we are not out of the  tunnel of winter, but we can see light in the distance as we notice the signs of Spring and take a little longer to emerge from our windter hibernation! This practice is drawn from those described in The Celtic School of Yoga book.

We have chosen to offer these audio recordings freely. We do this because we know yoga nidra to be a valuable practice which we want to share widely. It does, however take a fair bit of time and effort to upload the recordings and maintain this site so you can use it.

If you feel you have benefitted from what you have heard or learnt from this site then please do consider making a contribution towards the maintenance and upkeep of the site. We’d appreciate that, and it would help to ensure we can continue to offer this service freely.

Thank you.
