Embracing Kali Nidra

This 23min Yoga Nidra was recorded live at our Women's Yoga weekly class at The Life Centre, Islington, London on Samhain (Halloween) 31 October 2017. It is inspired by the energy of the Goddess Kali. The name Kali coming from the root sanskrit word Kal meaning time, this Nidra is about coming home to the present moment, the now. The rotation honours the deep feminine in every part of the body, and there is the welcoming of the void (a space which Kali's sky-clad dark form can be said to represent) and seeing what arises.

Pot in the Ocean Yoga Nidra

This nineteen minute and 47 second yoga nidra was recorded live in Lesvos on a beautiful May morning. It was specially created to support a connection to loving integrity and trust, and it is an intimate recording, that includes the metaphor of the 'pot in the ocean': fully integrated with what is, inside and out. It is peaceful yet energising. Enjoy! Thank you for listening.

Bilingual English/Russian Welcome Nidra

This 28 minute practice is a warm welcome nidra, recorded live in Moscow, with thirty two Russian yoginis present. The beautiful translation of English is provided by Natalia Pylaeva, whose skilful interpreting has been a feature of the Moscow women's yoga courses since 2011. The studio is in the heart of Moscow, above an esoteric bookstore, and there are a few little people settling at the beginning of it, and sime inner city sounds in the soundscape. but the peace that settles amongst the yoginis is palpable and very sweet. Enjoy! And a big Thank You to Natalia for your voice!
