Nourish your heart with Bhakti Nidra – the treasure of deep rest with the healing sounds of sacred Sanskrit mantras and poetry. These multi-vocal Total Yoga Nidra practices are crea- tive co-collaborations, which manifested to nourish and heal through a combination of Total Yoga Nidra, vocal improvisa- tions, medicine music, and mantra.

  1. Great Mother Bhakti Nidra with Uma & Sivani Mata & Harmonium. This nurturing nidra, has the mantra JAI MA (‘Victory to the Mother’, or ‘Viva Pachamamma!’) running throughout in Sivani’s beautiful voice. It was recorded live in an evening session at a Women’s (Mother and Daughter) retreat in Cleeve House in Wiltshire I the early Spring of 2018. The poem ‘And the Great Mother Said’ is by Linda Reuther.
  2. Ocean Nidra. DreamSong from the Ocean, with Uma leading the Nidra and Susie Ro singing ‘Creatures of the Deep’. This nidra was co-created in Bristol during a weekend Dream- Song workshop led by Uma and Susie. DreamSong offers yoga nidra alternating with four-part harmony singing. This practice is a deep dive into the ocean of rest which is Total Yoga Nidra.
  3. JAI MAA! Musical Nidra with Uma, Sivani Mata and Antrama This special triple-voice practice, with harmonium and guitar, was recorded in the Kagyu Samye Dzong Tibetan Buddhist centre in South East London. The improvisation occurred during a Total Yoga Nidra Immersion weekend, taught by Uma and her husband Nirlipta Tuli at which Sivani and Antram were both as- sisting. Together, one afternoon all three voices came together to offer this practice of Bhakti Nidra straight form the heart.
  4. Viento (Winds) Nidra. with Uma leading the Nidra and Susie Ro singing. This nidra was co-created in Bristol during a week- end DreamSong workshop led by Uma and Susie Ro. DreamSong offers yoga nidra alternating with four-part harmony singing. This practice offers a deep dive into the ocean of rest which is Total Yoga Nidra.
