Total Yoga Nidra For Children

£9.00

Heart-centred, vivid and nourishing meditations and relaxation practices for the young.
An album of live recordings by Uma Dinsmore-Tuli Phd and Lucy Arnsby-Wilson DPsych

This unique collection of live recordings offers an authentic range of diverse nidras for different times of the day and different ages of children. They are all recorded in the presence of children who are actually doing the Yoga Nidra practices. See which ones suit you best, and integrate them into daily life: that is how they were shared, with our own families, students and clients. We hope they inspire you and the children in your life to find place and time to welcome the power of Yoga Nidra.

Tracks with LAW at the start are recorded by Lucy Arnsby Wilson, and tracks with UDT are recorded by Uma Dinsmore-Tuli

1. Rise and Shine - UDT : A nidra for all ages, created initially
for mornings, but that can be used anytime you’d like a little support for a fresh start, for example after a nap. Suitable for children from 4 upwards. Recorded live at Pure Camping during the Women and Girls Bealtaine yoga Retreat 2018

2. Morning Wake Up - UDT : Another morning practicem which again can be used to re-connect with activities after a pause. Recorded live at Pure Camping during the Women and Girls Bealtaine yoga Retreat 2018

3. Robin hopping yoga nidra: settling down with Lucy - LAW – recorded live in a noisy room in London – which makes it really useful for settling in noisy places.

4. For Freedom - LAW. A practice to savour simply being free to be alive and safe. Suitable for all children aged 8 and up. This practice has been developed by Lucy Arnsby-Wilson for supporting refugee children who have come to seek asylum in the UK.

5. For being safe: an invitational yoga nidra for all ages of children - LAW – recorded live at a Yoga Nidra for Children workshop in London. It’s in a noisy room in London – which makes it really useful for feeling safe settling in noisy places.

6. After Lunch Yoga Nidra for children of all ages - UDT. Recorded live at a Yoga Nidra for Children workshop in London.

7. Afternoon down time. For children of all ages, including toddlers - UDT. Recorded live at Pure Camping during the Women and Girls Bealtaine yoga Retreat 2018.

8. Review the day: an ideal evening practice, for children from 5 to 12 (and older) travelling back through the day to remember what has happened - UDT. Recorded live at Pure Camping during the Women and Girls Bealtaine yoga Retreat 2018.

9. Goodnight! A bedtime practice, for children from 5 to 12 (and older) - UDT. Recorded live at Pure Camping during the Women and Girls Bealtaine yoga Retreat 2018.

10. Queen of the Moon - UDT. This is a tried and tested ‘lullaby’ nidra, with the intention: ‘settle down now and go to sleep’. Uma told this nidra often to her grown up sons when they were little boys who were resistant to the idea of going to sleep. They usually dropped off after the Queen of the Moon bakes her eighth muffin. It is recorded here with Uma’s daughter Prayaag Eileen pretending to fall asleep.
