Rest, Re-connect, and Restore: a weekend of Yoga Nidrā,
Live in-person with Uma and Nirlipta in Stroud
Who is it intended for? Who is eligible for this course?
Everyone is welcome. No experience necessary. This is for absolutely anyone who is in need of very deep and sustained rest. Facilitators, care givers and teachers (especially those who have already trained with us!) are also warmly invited to take rest for themselves. It shares the skills of deep self-care through yoga nidrā and community rest. This weekend non-residential retreat will nourish and nurture you, to foster a sense of well-being in the midst of all that life can bring.
How long is it?
10am til 5pm – each day (including lunch)
Is this course for me?
Do you need a break?
Would you love to press pause on your life for just one day?
Would you love to rest and be nurtured all day long with back-to back live yoga nidrā with Uma and Nirlipta?
This weekend does just it does what it says on the tin! It’s two days to rest, reconnect and restore your energies with Yoga Nidrā Made Easy co-authors Uma Dinmsore-Tuli and Nirlipta Tuli. It’s not complicated. Imagine two whole days of being pampered with nidrā, in our lovely home yoga studio in our small but pleasing garden in Stroud. From beginning to end, the weekend will be filled with a variety of nidrās covering a multitude of topics, from deep rest to elemental, philosophical, to magical narrative stories to travelling in time; all in the profound nourishing rest of nidrā with Uma and Nirlipta. We will welcome you home to your Rested Self.
Cost: £243
Including two abundant and delicious home cooked organic vegetarian lunches, and plentiful snacks and refreshments. Please let us know at time of booking your needs and wants around your diet, and we shall be sure to offer you what suits you. If price is a barrier to attendance please call us and we can work something out.
What do I need to bring?
Nothing at all, just your good self, and perhaps a journal if you would like to make some notes. We provide: a super comfy yoga nidrā nest for you – specially designed yoga nidrā mats, plus cushions, bolsters, eye pillows/scarves, oodles of covers, multiple bolsters (small and large), cosy sheepskins, and as many lovely blankets as you need!
What will this weekend give me?
What to expect?
To enjoy the experience being immersed in yoga nidrā. There will be space for connection, discussions, deep meditative rest, and also for querying and making observations. There will also be space for making personal and private reflections by journalling. With that in mind it would be very useful for bringing a journal and pen on the day.
What will I be able to do after this course?
To feel nurtured, rested, reconnected to your resting self! This is not a training course to facilitate nidrā. It is a weekend of nurture acknowledging and honouring the importance of deep rest, reconnection and restoration, and enjoying being held in a dedicated space for that to happen.
Please note that this course doesn’t qualify you to teach or facilitate yoga nidrā.
It is entirely independent of any of our other courses, offered by the Yoga Nidrā Network. It is a standalone event, and of course it also a nourishing choice for anyone who has done any of our other courses, workshops or training.
