THIS LAND REMEMBERS: A community-nurture day of meditative rest to re-awaken intuition and creativity.

A day of restful being to nurture the land of our bodies and souls.

Live in-person with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli in Dublin, Ireland

Venue: Chapel of Ease, Irishtown (Gospel Hall), 57 Irishtown Road, Dublin 4, D04CA43

Together as rested humans, we reclaim our collective and embodied indigenous knowing. We re-awaken intuition and creativity by restoring our rhythmic cycles of health and vitality. In this welcoming circle of belonging we reconnect to our intuitive knowing, through horizontal meditations, poetry, co-creative radical rest rituals, sound, gentle movement and breath to nurture well-being.

Who is it intended for? Who is eligible for this course?

Everyone is welcome. No experience necessary. This is for absolutely anyone who is in need of very deep and sustained rest. Facilitators, care givers and teachers are also warmly invited to take rest for themselves. You will practise the skills of deep self-care through yoga nidrā and community rest. This day retreat will nourish and nurture you, to foster a sense of well-being in the midst of all that life can bring.

Is this course for me?
Do you need a break?
Would you love to press pause on your life for just one day?
Would you love to rest and be nurtured all day long with back-to back live yoga nidrā with
Uma?

This one day retreat does just what it says on the tin! It’s a day to rest, reconnect and
restore your energies with Yoga Nidrā Made Easy co-authors Uma Dinsmore-Tuli. It’s not complicated. Imagine a whole day of being pampered with nidrā.  From beginning to end, the day will be filled with a variety of nidrās covering a multitude of topics, from
deep rest to elemental, philosophical, to magical narrative stories to travelling in time; all in the profound nourishing rest of nidrā with Uma. We will welcome you home to your Rested Self.

What do I need to bring?
Nothing at all, just your good self, and perhaps a journal if you would like to make some notes. We will provide a super comfy yoga nidrā nest for you.

What will this day give me?
1. Time to experience the nourishing practical benefits resting in yoga nidrā: the meditative
restful sleep of the yogis.
2. Space to enjoy a variety of nurturing yoga nidrās during the day.
3. A chance to let go of the stresses and anxieties of daily life.
4. The nurturing ‘resonant echo’ of yoga nidrā so you can feel how the benefits of the practice last for much longer than the practice itself.
5. The magical healing qualities of deep physiological rest, and a sense of how to replicate
that for yourself when you go home.

What to expect?
To enjoy the experience of being immersed in yoga nidrā. There will be space for connection, discussions, deep meditative rest, and also for querying and making observations. There will also be space for making personal and private reflections by journalling. With that in mind it would be very useful for bringing a journal and pen on the day.

What will I be able to do after this course?

To feel nurtured, rested, reconnected to your resting self! This is not a training course to
facilitate nidrā. It is a day of nurture, acknowledging and honouring the importance of
deep rest, reconnection and restoration, and enjoying being held in a dedicated space for that to happen.

Please note that this course doesn’t qualify you to teach or facilitate yoga nidrā.  It is entirely independent of any of our other courses, offered by the Yoga Nidrā Network. It is a standalone event, and of course, it is also a nourishing choice for anyone who has done any of our other courses, workshops or training.
