2 - 3 January 2017
with Nirlipta Tuli
at Sitaram Studio, Tanglewood, Gunhouse Lane, Stroud, Gloucestershire, GL5 2DB
Nirlipta first began practising pranayama in 1987. A series of serious health issues led him to resume a very intense relationship with the practice over the summer of 2016, and, as a direct result of a pranayama programme that sometimes extends to several hours a day, he has now been gifted a complete sequence of practices which have, as a side effect, the benefit of instilling a deep and profound sense of equanimity and happiness.
Since experiencing these practices Nirlipta has begun to share them with others and has been gratified to observe that people who are introduced to them have similarly profound and moving experiences. With this in mind he has decided to run a two day course at the yoga studio in Stroud on a monthly basis, and will begin this at the beginning of January 2017.
If you are interested in the beneficial effects of searching for happiness, in experiencing deep healing, relaxation, a sense of well-being and of enquiring about the state of one’s life, its purpose, direction and obstacles to attaining them, then this course may well be for you.
As well as much unique yoga nidra practised, sequences of gentle exercises, country walks, log fires, good food and company, there will also be time to reflect on all of this, and to enjoy this start to the new year in a positive and uplifting way. A thing to note is that this short course absolutely does not guarantee happiness. The search of it however, may be most enjoyable and beneficial.
Arrive 10am Monday 2 January for a welcoming yoga nidra (or 3) before lunch,
Depart 5pm Tuesday 3 January.
