This 13 minute yoga nidra practice was recorded for the Menstrual Health yoga day in Stroud in July 2014. It invites us to re-connect to the source of deep wisdom within ourselves, seated in the earth and water energies in our bodies.
This is a gentle and awakening 16 minute practice to invite the inner light of consciousness to shine. It has been so much enjoyed on our Online Yoga Nidra Foundation courses recently that I felt it was a good idea to share it here with everyone. I often use a practice such as this first thing in the mornings, and then the light which shines is the dawn light, brining the energy of the new day into the body.
Under 13 minutes to experience Nidra through a series of guided practices including initial relaxation and settling, body scan and an integration of the breath with opposite sensations and visualization...Enjoy :)
This 22 minute sleep nidra is specially designed to not wake you up at the end, so you can continue to sleep after the practice. It was developed by Nirlipta as a result of his personal experience in the field of sleep: as a yoga nidra teacher, as a hypnotherapist, and as an ex-insomniac who cured his own condition using a synthesis of these techniques.
This is a live recording of a morning practice delivered specially for the yoginis at the Bright family / Birthlight Centre in Moscow. It is the third of three daily nidra practices that were all translated by Natalia Pylaeva, who was the interpreter for the Womb yoga/Well Woman yoga therapy training course, April 2013. Thank you so much Natalia for giving this yoga nidra a beautiful Russian voice.
