“You do not need improving”

I have spent my life learning how to feel whole and comfortable in my body and I share the lessons I have learned through working with Medicine Circles, menopause mentoring and Yoga Nidra in workshops, circles and 1-2-1.

My adventures have brought me almost 30 years working as a therapist. I studied Biodynamic Psychotherapy with Gerda Boyesen in the 90s, working both in private practice and with women affected by HIV and AIDS. I also trained in Body Psychotherapy, Pregnancy Massage with Shiatsu, Abdominal-Sacral massage and Fertility Massage. More recently I trained in Womb Yoga and Yoga Nidra with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and in Menstruality with Alexandra Pope Red School. I was honoured to be the first person in the world to graduate as a Medicine Circle facilitator. Now, both solo and in partnership with Leora Leboff at Woman Kind I facilitate workshops, groups and retreats focusing on kindness and menopause.

I flipping love menopause, its been one of the most healing and transformative experiences of my life, right next to becoming a mother. I slid into perimenopause from being postnatal and this depletion and lack of support set the tone for my predictably messy menopause process, but now, having walked alongside many menopausal women, I can see its always messy, thats how its meant to be. Having been undone and re-born by the marvelous menopause process,  I find myself now in a wibbly second spring and delighted to be cheering you on, witnessing and sharing the joys and challenges of menopause with you.

My mission is to change the way we regard menopause and show how we can relax into our own, inner authority through our cyclical nature and menopause process.
