I am a mama, yogini, bodyworker and postnatal Ayurdoula. I am passionate about supporting women to (re)connect with inner and outer cycles through Yoga, Ayurveda, massage and simple rituals. One of these rituals is of course Yoga Nidra, one of my daily practices since I became a mama over four years ago.
I have been very fortunate to encounter yoga nidra at Uma's women's yoga classes in a cosy studio in the heart of Bristol in 2009, and to train with both her and Nirlipta and the lovely Lucy Arnsby-Wilson in 2015 and 2019. Practicing nidra has been (and continues to be) a real gift. It has enriched the way I teach/share yoga with others and the way I practice yoga on my own, as well as the way I live my life, because this practice is an integral part of it. It's a daily ritual that constantly reminds me of the power and magic of rest and how rest is crucial to all cycles and to my own health and wellbeing first, as I serve others along this incredible journey that life is.
