I have been practicing Yoga Nidra since 2007 and enjoying the beautiful bliss and connection that is found within this restful space firstly through the Satyananda yogic tradition with recordings by Swami Pragyamurti Saraswati. So when I saw Uma and Nirliptas' course I felt it was essential to learn more and explore the origins and different traditions of Yoga Nidra last year, (2013). Since doing the course I have spent a lot of time practicing yoga nidra and all times of the day, as well as with my yoga students at the end of a yoga class and provided them with a spring board into inner peace as well as allowing a very restorative pause. I find that it helps with sleeping problems and finding a clear path. I am a British Wheel accredited Yoga Teacher since 2008 and have been teaching group and one to one classes along with my full time job working in Culture. The yoga is essential to my keeping clear minded and calm. I can apply Yoga Nidra teaching one to one or for small group sessions.
