That is how I greet each and every person who comes for a 1:1 session with me. Whether you are looking for yoga therapy, or for a Motherpeace Tarot Reading with yoga nidrā, or professional mentoring for your work in the world, I greet you with integrity and open hearted attention. You can expect to receive the complete focus and multi-dimensional approach to mentoring, yoga therapy and healing for which I have been holding space for the past twenty-five years. I would be honoured to welcome you into a private session uniquely responsive to your needs. I am honoured to be able to offer this service to you.


The options for session are detailed below.

Mix n Match!
Very often people arrive for yoga therapy and also receive mentoring, or come seeking a Tarot Nidrā and also find the yoga nidrā is of therapeutic value.

Yoga Therapy (1 hour Minimum)

Prior to attending this session, you will be asked to complete an intake form to share some information about your current health and to reflect upon what you would like to receive from the session. This allows Uma to tune with you before the session and allow you to work together with more focus in the time available. 

This session starts with a sharing, followed by a yoga therapy practice tailored especially for your requirements at this time, and then we have time to reflect and orient and consider how to implement this in your life before the end of the session.

We record the session and you take away the recording, and your own programme of yoga therapy, often including a recording of your own special yoga nidrā.

Motherpeace Tarot Reading & Tarot Nidrā (1 hour minimum)

You bring your question. We spend the first part of the session listening to where you are and why you are seeking a reading. We then read the cards, I show you each card and read the spread. You ask more questions! And then you rest in yoga nidrā and the cards of your reading form the basis of a healing yoga nidra to offer wisdom and guidance to you from the cards in your resting state. You take away a photograph of the spread, the recording of the reading, and a separate recording of your special tarot yoga nidrā.

Mentoring (30 minute minimum)

You bring your question, and outline your current situation. I ask you questions, and together we co-create a responsive plan of action, practice and self-nurture to enable you to realise your goals for your work in the world. You take away a recording of the session.

Nidra Therapy for Chronic Pain.

This unique approach is based on it being highly individual work, that each person has their own intimate relationship with pain. this is acknowledged and respected by Nirlipta. It is deeply healing.This is a boon for people who have long term conditions involving chronic pain such as fibromyalgia, back pain, osteoarthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, lupus, chronic pelvic pain, chronic fatigue, phantom limb pain and so on. It enables a differing and more beneficial relation with the pain as well as providing relief from it for varying periods of time. A variety of approaches are utilised on an individual basis.

Nidra and Hypnosis for Pregnancy and Labour.

Nirlipta has been working with pregnant women for over a quarter of a century, with their partners too, to teach them how to use hypnosis to generally be of real help in labour with the women effectively for over twenty years. He taught yoga for pregnancy classes, birth rehearsals and hypnosis for labour and birth to couples at Kings College Hospital and St Thomas’ Hospitals in South London for ten years, two of the very busiest maternity hospitals in the UK.
