Yoni Shakti Well Woman Yoga Therapy Teacher Training
Polish by origin, I first discovered yoga when I moved to Ireland over 12 years ago. Yoga helped me to unwind and quiet my mind after busy working days. Fascinated by the effects of yoga, I decided to go deeper and studied extensively Vinyasa Yoga and Yoga Synergy. Learning from Simon Borg-Olivier, Emil Wendel, Laragh and David Cunningham, I greatly improved my knowledge of anatomy and physiology behind yoga poses, expanded my practice of pranayama and rooted loving kindness towards others. The most anticipated moment in my life, conception of a baby, turned out to be the most challenging. Practising yoga supported me to transition through those difficult moments. Through acceptance and surrender, I experienced the miracle of giving life to my son, which helped me to see yoga from a womens perspective. Being in tune with my body and truly listening to my internal weather reports helps to shift my practice every day. Completing a Well Women Yoga Therapy Teacher Training and afterwards Self-care Yoga Teacher Training for women with Emily Kuser, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and Bex Tyrer improved my understanding of well-being, womens psychology, physiology, sexuality and spirituality. My Womens self-care yoga and Vinyasa Flow classes‹ are grounded in loving kindness as we journey using conscious breath and mindful movement to increase our vitality. We transition between poses to remove stagnation, move with curiosity and intuitive wisdom and get playful at times. Focusing on therapeutic aspects of yoga we nourish ourselves, heal the mind and physical body.
