Delivered at Viveka Gardens Yoga Farm, West Leigh, Mid Devon for a sankalpa workshop at midsummer. We discussed ideas of being full and at the peak, like the sun, or not. And the turning to the second half of the year, the alternation of fullness and giving endlessly, like the sun, and of turning inwards and resting in the winter. Before starting, a conundrum or a puzzle you are turning over and over in your head like a rubik cube may suggest itself. Hold it lightly to present to your heart space in the nidra.
The blackbird singing full throat will either be a distraction or a delight. He was the self-proclaimed king of the orchard, kitchen garden and yard this spring and summer though the birds of other feather took no notice and sang full-heartedly too!
We have chosen to offer these audio recordings freely. We do this because we know yoga nidra to be a valuable practice which we want to share widely. It does, however take a fair bit of time and effort to upload the recordings and maintain this site so you can use it.
If you feel you have benefitted from what you have heard or learnt from this site then please do consider making a contribution towards the maintenance and upkeep of the site. We’d appreciate that, and it would help to ensure we can continue to offer this services freely.
Thank You, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and Nirlipta Tuli, Co-Founders, Yoga Nidra Network
