This long Yoga Nidra practice focuses on the exploration of opposite qualities. By bringing the awareness to opposing qualities, and then experiencing them together, we move into a non-dual or liminal state of awareness and the mind experiences deep relaxation. Opposite qualities in this relaxation include heavy/light, hot/cold, stillness/movement and wholeness/separation, and the exploration of the left and right sides of the body.
