This is an introductory evening about the intersectionality of Total Yoga Nidra and Neuroplasticity, led by Yoga Nidra Network co-founder Nirlipta Tuli.
The hope is that you will go away feeling that you have had an experience of your mind, your brain, of neuroplasticity and of Total Yoga Nidra in such a way that you feel better, know more, and are keen to continue exploring the subject.
In this session you will learn:
- A basic introduction to the anatomy of the brain, from the perspective of how it can be perceived and experienced by oneself
- A nidra meditation using techniques from yoga and tantra, with an explanation of them so that they can be broken down in terms of current understanding of neuroscience.
- An explanation of links between a chakra, its trigger point, the corpus callosum uniting the two hemispheres of the brain, and why this is significant.
- Creating an alternate body; how to do so, why to do so, as well as possible therapeutic ramifications
- An opportunity for queries and discussion about nidra, neuroplasticity, mind, brain and their intersectionality
This evening’s session is a brief experiential introduction to that, with the intention of being relaxing, informative and enjoyable.
