This is one of the yoga nidrā practices included in the Treasury of Transcripts in ‘Nidrā Shakti: The Power of Rest – An Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Yoga Nidrā’.
This 38-minute evening practice utilized a version of the Himalayan rotation of consciousness bringing sacred presence like holy oil to the spaces inside the body as well as a rose meditation during the liminal space at the end of the practice. The intention for the practice was to rest in the essence of the self and to welcome respect for the body, with an especial focus on perimenopausal experience. This Yoga Nidra by Uma Dinsmore-Tuli was recorded live on one of the Yoni Shakti Well Woman Yoga Therapy Teacher Trainings.
