This 28-minute yoga nidra is for helping people with any type of addiction. Changing behaviour is a long term endeavour. During my teaching job at a rehabilitation centre l met many people who needed different kinds of help. Yoga nidra is one of the tools which l used and I received lots of positive feedback about this. In this practice l hope you experience a hypnotic and deeply relaxed state. This can help change behaviour more easily. Sankalpa or intention is important for people with addictions. l prefer to include simple questions in my yoga nidra rather than asking questions that require you to make big decisions. It may take several sessions to answer one of these simple questions
We have chosen to offer these audio recordings freely. We do this because we know yoga nidra to be a valuable practice which we want to share widely. It does, however take a fair bit of time and effort to upload the recordings and maintain this site so you can use it.
If you feel you have benefitted from what you have heard or learnt from this site then please do consider making a contribution towards the maintenance and upkeep of the site. We’d appreciate that, and it would help to ensure we can continue to offer this services freely.
