Yoni Shakti Well Woman Yoga Therapy Teacher Training
I invite you to join my small group yoga practices where we strengthen our connection with the Earth and free the flow of our natural energy.
I bring together all I have learned from yoga (certified to teach Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Source Power / Womb yoga, pregnancy yoga and children’s yoga) to offer a truly unique form of practice which is complete and nourishing, and beneficial in all of our daily lives.
In my classes you will enjoy naturally integrated breath work, powerfully grounding postures and creative movement flow sequences which promote strength and flexibility, release and relaxation in everybody.
My initial yoga teacher training qualification was Vinyasa Flow (200hrs) with Alessandra Pecorella (Senior Yoga Teacher) of Aditya Yoga School, London 2014 and upon qualification I solely was awarded a place on the Aditya Yoga School apprenticeship program.
During the following three years I taught extensively, continued to assist and study with Alessandra Pecorella and established my own ongoing classes independently.
During pregnancy I trained to teach specialist pregnancy yoga (85hrs) with Sally Parkes (Senior Yoga Teacher) 2017.
Also in 2017 while still pregnant, I lived in a traditional ashram for 5 weeks to achieve advanced teacher training qualification (300hrs) with Swami Samarpanananda Saraswati (Himalayan master) of Rishikesh, India.
Following the birth of my child I returned to a full and varied teaching schedule, offering the whole range of yoga forms which I had learned and often blending the styles to produce a truly unique and inclusive way to practice.
Searching for a kind of yoga and teacher who could confidently welcome and guide my post natal body and mind, I found Dr Uma Dinsmore Tuli and began to practice with her, attending workshops in London with my baby too. In 2018 I joined Uma and Sivani Mata Francis at El Gravito, Portugal to train to teach Source Power yoga (also Womb yoga, 45hrs). Source Power yoga is a super natural and nourishing form of yoga now at the root and heart of my evolved practice.
Just recently this year I trained to teach specialist children’s yoga and mindfulness with Janine Hurley of Chrysalis Kids, Manchester.
I am currently studying Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (Early Years Educator) alongside raising my family.
I have been practicing yoga for over 10 years; exploring, enjoying and evolving my self practice whilst experiencing many different disciplines of yoga and learning from senior teachers in London and Rishikesh. I have 1000 hours of teaching experience so far and I have been running my own classes independently since 2014.
