Claires unconventional education, which included lessons in Sanskrit, meditation and Vedic philosophy and a passion for gymnastics instilled a sense of curiosity about yoga as an adult. After exploring many styles of yoga and training for 2 yrs in the ancient martial art of Capoeira, Claire was naturally drawn towards the fluidity of vinyasa flow and trained with Lara Baumann in both London and India in 2007 and is certified by Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 200). Claire relocated to Brighton in 2011 shortly after becoming a mum and handed over her regular London classes. Knowing the scarcity of daytime classes for busy mums with little ones in tow, she set up a daytime Parent & Toddler Yoga class. An interest in postnatal yoga expanded and a desire to provide more classes for mums and their little ones to practice yoga together lead her to train further in Mum and Baby Yoga with Uma Dinsmore Tuli, (who she had trained with previously in Pregnancy Yoga) With an abundance of classes available for pregnant mums Claire decided to hold the torch for the postnatal ladies, helping them to restore their strength post baby, ease out tension, share their experiences with others and practice alongside their little ones. Claire continues to develop her own practice with respected teachers worldwide and is currently training in Yoga Anatomy with Leslie Kaminoff. When shes not thinking, reading and practicing yoga, she likes painting, renovating, walking the dog, boarding in the mountains and hopes to try out some Paddle Board Yoga next.
