Yoga has been such a gift to me, seeming to come to me at some of the most significant points in my life and often the most transformational. From the the playfulness and wonder of first at 18yrs young, to dabbling with yoga in my 20’s but really wanting to just move, so running became my thing. In my 30’s I was drawn back to yoga at a significant time in my life. When pregnant with my son, my then husband died suddenly. The pain was insurmountable, but I gathered strength from the love around me and from within. Through running and practising yoga, and lots of therapy and journal writing, over time I healed and grew stronger.
I truly believe in the power of yoga to offer freedom, strength, empowerment, resilience, connection and ultimately love to yourself. These are the gifts of yoga, and these are the gifts you can give yourself.
