I have been teaching yoga since 2005 and enjoy the energy and creativity of teaching children, pregnancy and hatha. My practice was totally transformed, reinspired and softened after taking Umas courses and through working with Sarah Litten, a yoga therapist to understand better the workings of the female anatomy and pelvis. I loved working dynamically but got to a point where I’d often feel so tired and realised some of the poses did not suit the shape of my body! I also realised I needed deep rest and nourishment at certain times of the month and to have the energy needed for my childrens classes. I find Umas teachings infuse all my classes and my self practice with the softness and nourishment of being a woman whilst still managing to work strongly sometimes too.x

Contribute to the Yoga Nidra Network

We have chosen to offer these audio recordings freely. We do this because we know yoga nidra to be a valuable practice which we want to share widely. It does, however take a fair bit of time and effort to upload the recordings and maintain this site so you can use it.

If you feel you have benefitted from what you have heard or learnt from this site then please do consider making a contribution towards the maintenance and upkeep of the site. We’d appreciate that, and it would help to ensure we can continue to offer this services freely.

Thank You, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and Nirlipta Tuli, Co-Founders, Yoga Nidra Network
