" Let Silence take you to the core of life "  -Rumi How important this is in our modern lives.  With the noise of the world and especially of our minds it is easy to lose sight of what is important. I thank Uma and Nirlipta for sharing their love of yoga nidra with me. I too now hope to share more silence and rest with you and others. I love the effortless ease of Yoga Nidra. How it may drop you to a state of resting deeply while maintaining awareness. The space where we can connect to our true deeper nature. I have worked within the health service for over 30 years . At times with modern medicine i feel it has lost  the value of the holistic approach to helping a person heal. Often neglecting the emotional and spiritual impact of illness upon a person. Initially several years ago i began practicing Mindfulness Meditation and later learnt to teach this. Mindfulness for me was a transformational, powerful experience. Far greater than anything i had learnt at medical school. It has interwoven into my day allowing me to live with more ease and less stress. However i realised it is not for everyone. Sitting with yourself can be quite difficult at times. I believe that Yoga Nidra can access the same space with much greater ease. That space of stillness and deeper natural intuition. A space for creativity  and insights to arise. A space just for deep rest and restoration. I love exploring different forms of Nidra.  What i loved about training with Uma and Nirlipta is havng the structure to be creative with. My live sessions often work with a theme exploring this with both Mindfulness meditation and Yoga Nidra.
