Yoni Shakti Well Woman Yoga Therapy Teacher Training
I discovered yoga during a difficult time in my life and I immediately felt the amazing effects of this practice, not only on my body but also on my mind, my emotions, and my entire being. Since this first meeting with yoga, it accompanied me throughout my life. It has its charm, it can be practiced by everyone and be beneficial and effective. When I discover something that works really well I make it my mission to share it with others. So I was practicing yoga more and more and spontaneously began to share it with my friends and family. I followed this path and completed my first yoga teacher training, and after some time I discovered many amazing styles and methods of therapeutic yoga which can help women to achieve the desired health, mind, and body conditions and explore their feminine powers. For health benefits, I studied with Dinah Rodrigues her method of Hormone Yoga Therapy. To go further into the therapeutic yoga in relation to the human body I join the education of The Yoga Therapy Institute in Amsterdam and I am following the 800 hours Yoga Therapy education. As much as I value these approaches in yoga therapy I had missed an authentic yogic path that can take me and my students deeper into the heart, the true self, and the femininity. I found this with Womb Yoga. The nourishing path of yoga for women of all ages and all conditions. No method to be followed but making the authentic connection and listening to yourself and your own specific needs.
My background is in healthcare and social work. I have many years of experience as a kindergarten teacher. Before that, I worked for several NGOs (human rights, social participation, and immigration) and studied as a laboratory technician working in hospitals (biochemistry).
I have always been interested in these medical, social, and psychological disciplines and my fascination with the magic of the human body at all levels gives me the base for yoga therapy. That’s also why I love to be involved in the process of empowering women to reactivate their forces at the cellular, energetic, and mental level. Practicing yoga created an awareness that I can apply throughout my entire life. It gives me the ability to live closer to my passions and to live from my heart.
