Total Yoga Nidra Teacher Training (with Yoga Nidra Network)
YOGA NIDRA NETWORK ASSOCIATE TEACHER
I am an experienced 500 hours yoga alliance teacher in seasonal yoga and qigong and an Associate of the Total Yoga Nidra team. It was in my 200 hour seasonal yoga teacher training and prenatal classes in 2012 that I first experienced yoga nidra. A profoundly restful and almost magical practice, I have used it much as a mother to shore me up when resources are low. Sharing nidra is integral to my classes and workshops. In 2016 I attended my first Total Yoga Nidra Immersion with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and Ben Wolff and this ‘blew my nidra mind’! I was invited to experience how straightforward, practical, yet magical and potentially healing nidra can be, offered the tools to understand it practically and ethically and my yoga nidra knowledge and skills expanded dramatically. Like dark sap, deep in the roots in winter time, I waited patiently for my family to grow so I could attend further training. Meantime this nidra sap juiced up my offerings in Glasgow. In January 2019 I attended the facilitator training and in April I was invited to join the Associate team. I invite a seasonal experience in nidra, inspired by the ebb and flow of nature, offering a space so we can come home to our own spaciousness within. Often accompanied by tinkling chimes or the ring of a prayer bowl, I aspire to use my voice in more delightful ways as my experience grows.
