A teacher to me is on the one hand an enabler, someone who assists skilfully in the learning of another without claiming to be anything more than a facilitator. I aim at empowering students to own their experience and process and find their inner teacher. A central dimension of my teaching is space holding. Holding space is like externalising mindfulness into 3D: creating a space of presence, awareness, trust, clarity, empathy, curiosity, and non-judgment for a person or a group from a place of acceptance and love. My intention is to teach in a mindful and heartful way putting awareness first. I offer multidimensional practices woven together into a rich tapestry of movement, breathing, sound, mudra, rest and yoga nidra – yoga from the inside out. Since my first pregnancy yoga teacher training, I have gone on a journey of discovery around topics specifically relevant to the female body experience with Uma and other teachers. To deepen my knowledge around birth and to be able to offer more support for women and supporting men, I took a doula training in 2016. I also hold specific workshops on the female pelvic floor, Yoga for Labour/Birth Preparation and women’s circles as half day retreats based in yoga which are a safe place to be and share. I am passionate about sharing everything I have learned to bring about change in the way the cycles and special states of the female body are currently seen and experienced as well as about re-building female networks and sisterhood. My weekly London schedule for pregnancy yoga classes as well as general yoga classes can be found on my website. You can contact me for (pregnancy) Thai Yoga Massage and/or private pregnancy or postnatal sessions through my website. I am looking forward to meeting you in person! For the past four years, I have assisted Uma in her London-based teacher trainings. Since 2017, I have been co-teaching the Pregnancy TT in Portugal. I also hold teacher training modules on 200hr Yoga TTs on Yoga during Pregnancy and Yoga for Postnatal Women.
