Hi, my name is Michelle. I am a mother of four “taller than me now” children in Brighton.
I am a Tantric therapist supporting women and couples through releasing fears and limiting boundaries around intimacy, sensuality and exploring the true sense of being a sexual being.
In 2013 I was diagnosed with Grade 3 breast cancer, both breasts were removed and later on reconstructed. My yoga practice had to dramatically change. I felt very passionate about training to be a yoga teacher that was solely for women through all their life cycles, loves and trials and for women with or surviving from cancer … there was very little available for me to learn how to move in what felt a new body and so I knew we as women were crying out for this nourishment.
The IYN allowed me to train specifically in yoga for people living with cancer and with Uma in her Well Woman’s Yoga. It has certainly made a huge difference to my life and I finally feel at ease in what I intuitively knew yoga to be truly be beyond the modern idea of flex, pose and stretch … a space that allows us to come home to ourselves, no matter how stormy the seas around us maybe.
