Caroline Stuart “ Yoga Teacher & Yoga Therapist
I am a qualified British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) yoga teacher and Yoga Therapist. I am inspired by the spiritual as well as the physical wellbeing offered by yoga techniques. Accordingly, while I value and promote through practice and teaching the physical fitness and health benefits of yoga, I also value the spiritual calm and confidence practicing this ancient art brings.
One of my favourite specialisms in this area is that of ˜yoga nidra – yogic relaxation. The relaxation techniques that I use and teach can become a valuable tool that everyone can quickly learn and incorporate into their day to day routines to help ease the stresses and strains of modern urban life.
I also specialise in yoga for womens health. It is important to have a dedicated class for women who may need support through life changes, such as pregnancy, post- natal, fertility, menstruation, menopause and healthy aging.
As a devotee of yoga, I keep up to date on teaching techniques by regular attendance at training sessions / workshops on anatomy and maintaining alignment in postures, which is especially important for athletes and sports professionals.
My teaching style is clear, precise, instructive, supportive and easy to follow, keeping students attention and increasing their awareness of their own bodies and assisting them to improve their postural alignment and flexibility. I have seen instant delight from some people who consider themselves the stiffest person they know!
