Total Yoga Nidra Teacher Training (with Yoga Nidra Network)

[ENG] Born in 1982 in Paris. Music is my first love. Despite I didn’t study it I have been composing and performing for the last ten years in several bands. My style and vision was significantly influenced in 2007 after discovering an ancient instrument called the Kantele, an electric harp made of thirty-eight strings. Used in Shamanism in early days, the instrument sounds ethereal almost magical. I started to practice yoga in 2009 while touring in the US thanks to Maranda Pleasant. Yoga has been since then an important tool for my personal growth as well as helped me handle some difficult life events. I decided to become a teacher after doing the program The Artist Way from Julia Cameron which revealed a stronger interest to Yoga than I had realized when I read back my morning pages. I went to India and got a certification as a Hatha and Ashtanga yoga teacher in 2014 in Rishikesh, India to start to have a solid foundation. There, I discovered Yoga Nidra thanks to my teacher Uttam Ghosh with whom I practiced consistently through the Satyananda tradition. Back from India, I went for a Teacher Training in Yin Yoga, discipline (I had been practicing for two years) with Bernie Clark in Vancouver, Canada. I loved it so much that I decided to only teach Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra. I was getting some great benefices from these two practices but I wanted to know more and go deeper into the world of Nidra. That’s how I stumbled upon Uma Dinsmore Tuli and the Yoga Nidra Network. I undertook the Total Yoga Nidra Teacher Training and I want to dedicate my time teaching and promoting this wonderful practice. I am currently hard at work translating the Total Yoga Nidra Online Foundation into French, and this new French language version of the course will be available through the Yoga Nidra Network in the Autumn 2017. I teach in French and English in various studios all around France. I believe in the power of yoga to help us connect to our very essence and to live in harmony. My classes always have a connection to music as sound as a medium plays in my view an important role in our ability to letting go.

Contribute to the Yoga Nidra Network

We have chosen to offer these audio recordings freely. We do this because we know yoga nidra to be a valuable practice which we want to share widely. It does, however take a fair bit of time and effort to upload the recordings and maintain this site so you can use it.

If you feel you have benefitted from what you have heard or learnt from this site then please do consider making a contribution towards the maintenance and upkeep of the site. We’d appreciate that, and it would help to ensure we can continue to offer this services freely.

Thank You, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and Nirlipta Tuli, Co-Founders, Yoga Nidra Network
