Rory Singer is Managing Director and Clinical Director of New Road Psychotherapy Centre in central Brighton. NRPC is dedicated to counselling, psychotherapy and training and was established fifteen years ago. Psychotherapy He is a practising group and individual psychotherapist with over twenty-five years experience. and clinical supervisor He is a Registered Psychotherapist with the 'United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy' (UKCP) and works with individuals, couples and groups. He teaches and supervises both trainee and graduates of counselling and psychotherapy. He works as a consultant for individuals and organisations. Buddhism, Meditation and Yoga Nidra In his early 20's, before training as a psychotherapist Rory ordained as a Buddhist monk in the Thai Forest Tradition in the lineage of Ajahn Cha and Ajahn Sumedho. He lived in the monasteries for five years both in England and in Thailand. For fifteen years Rory has facilitated ‘Dharma, Dialogue and Meditation’ a group focussing on Vipassana meditation and Buddhist Theory from the Pali Cannon with an integration of Psychotherapeutic Theory. Rory is a qualified Yoga Nidra Teacher through Yoga Campus. He was taught by Nirlipta Tuli and Uma Dinsmore-Tuli
