Yoga Nidra & Soul Guide

A nomadic Canadian raised and educated in Switzerland, Simone worked as a counselor specializing in women’s issues before adopting the simple, free and romantic life of a traveling Yogini. After many years of study, practice, and teaching throughout the greater Asian realm, Simone established The School of Sacred Arts (SOSA), offering yoga teacher trainings, retreats and workshops in Bali, Peru and beyond.

The roots of Simone’s practice and teachings are eclectic in nature, drawing upon a wealth of study, various cultural lenses and wisdom traditions. Through her connection to nature, its cycles, its spirit, and her knowledge of holistic healing, Simone serves as a conduit for the ‘Wise Woman’. She advocates the necessity of holding reverence for Mother Earth and her gifts and therefore all of Life and its inherent interconnection.

Her Yoga Nidra methods have been greatly inspired by her teachers Kamini Desai (I AM Yoga Nidra, Amrit Method), Richard Miller (irest), Uma and Nirlipta (Dinsmore-)Tuli (Total Yoga Nidra) and the Native American medicine wheel teachings as taught by elders of the Blackfeet tradition. Simone shares these practices from a deep, centered state of presence, drawing on a shamanic, nature-based spirituality that speaks to the indigenous soul within us all.

Contribute to the Yoga Nidra Network

We have chosen to offer these audio recordings freely. We do this because we know yoga nidra to be a valuable practice which we want to share widely. It does, however take a fair bit of time and effort to upload the recordings and maintain this site so you can use it.

If you feel you have benefitted from what you have heard or learnt from this site then please do consider making a contribution towards the maintenance and upkeep of the site. We’d appreciate that, and it would help to ensure we can continue to offer this services freely.

Thank You, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and Nirlipta Tuli, Co-Founders, Yoga Nidra Network
