I use the wellspring of knowledge from the Yoni Shakti training to feed, guide and shape my work in Nepal to empower women. My project is The Country That Shook and our belief is that a connection to the deep feminine via, primarily, a connection to the menstrual cycle and all it has to offer will create a platform for women to step into their own autonomy and power.
We create interactive, educational, safe spaces where women are invited to release and let go of anything holding them down, with a foundation of integral information on sexual reproductive health and access to a hygienic menstrual product. The dream is to sow seeds of belief in the power and rights available to each and every being.
We are also currently writing a story book based in Nepal, taking the girls and women who read it on a journey into their innate wisdom and power through the menstrual cycle. It’s called Kumari’s Adventure with her Moon Cycle.
I am also a graphic designer who works a lot with facilitators within this field of Womb Yoga and Menstrual Empowerment to bring their projects to life visually.
