Total Yoga Nidra Teacher Training (with Yoga Nidra Network), Yoni Shakti Well Woman Yoga Therapy Teacher Training, Yoni Shakti Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training
Thea fell in love with yoga during her very first lesson in 2011 and continues to practice yoga on and off her mat on a daily basis ever since. Initially drawn to yoga’s physical benefits, she soon realized that yoga had much more to offer and started to study yoga philosophy and practice meditation.
She believes that yoga is for everybody and every day. But every day and every body is different. Therefore she invites her students to explore their own body and mind over and over again, from a new perspective, with fresh eyes. In her classes, Thea shares her own passion for yoga and meditation, and focuses on alignment and breathing as well as joy and enjoyment.
In 2013 Thea completed the 500hrs yoga teacher training “The Rising Moon” at Yoga&More in Berlin. In 2016 she trained in Pregnancy Yoga with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and Lisa-Victoria White and in 2017 she completed the Advanced Yin Yoga Training with Norman Blair and the Total Yoga Nidra Facilitator Training with Uma and Nirlipta Tuli and Ben Wolff in London.
Through her own struggle with endometriosis and the painful periods that come with this often underestimated disease and the lack of support from conventional health care providers, Thea discovered menstrual cycle awareness as her number one healing tool and can’t stop reading, researching and talking about the unbelievable powers of the menstrual cycle ever since. This passion led her to co-found the Zyklusakademie with her friend Lena Röpert in 2019, which is an informative resource platform for the German speaking community on menstrual cycle awareness.
To deepen her understanding of both the human body and psyche, and to further support especially women with their health, Thea currently attends training courses in Humanistic and Spiritual Therapy at the UTA Institue in Cologne, Germany and Holistic Health Coaching at the Bildungsinstitut Vonwald in Neusiedl, Austria.
