I am a Yoga Teacher from the Krishnamacharya Healing Yoga Foundation since 2010. I did my Foundation Course & Anatomy/Physiology with The British Wheel of Yoga and have Accreditation Teaching Diploma from the BWY. My keen interest in understanding the Yoga Sutra and its various components led me to attend further specialist courses and workshops in Pranayama, Yoga Sutra’s of Patanjali, Yoga Nidra, Meditation & Ayurveda with the different schools of yoga who specialise in these such as the KHYF, Bihar School of Yoga & Himalayan Tradition. I have been personally practicing Yoga Nidra techniques from the Bihar School of Yoga as well as the Himalayan Tradition with very positive experience for over ten years and my students feel the same in my classes. One of my students comment has been that I should ‘bottle’ my yoga nidra and meditation class practices as they really enjoy them. From experience my practices are spontaneous and different every time to suit the mood of the students. I had also undertaken a yoga and relaxation class for my workplace colleagues in the NHS and they really appreciated its value in everyday stressful lives.
I have also trained in Chakra Healing/Meditations & Coaching skills. I have been training in Indian Music for over 25 years and am very mindful of music and its positive effects and explore and incorporate these with chanting in my daily practices.
I currently teaches group classes, private one on one sessions and online classes in yoga and Indian music.
